Welcome to Beads By Brian......I get great pleasure and satisfaction in making glass beads and fused pendants and seeing them being worn by people.My jewellery is fashionable, unique, simple in design but made to a high standard. Items made by me for sale include necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles, pendants, and beads sets. I do two types of glass work, flame and fused. Flame work is using a gas/oxygen torch and heating the glass and melting on to clay coated steel mandrels to create beads, where fused work is cutting pieces of glass and layering them and then putting the pieces into a kiln to fuse. There are many types of glass all of which have different properties, for flame work I use Effetre from Italy, CIM Creation is Messy from China, Reichenbach from Germany and I also recycle bottles and make into beads. For fusing I use two types of glass Bullseye and Dichroic both from America. We use only quality findings which are all 925 sterling silver unless stated. Beading wire is Beadalon 49 strand and the leather and rubber cord are high grade. I will be adding items on a regular basis.
